The Importance of Moisture
Moisture is vital to your pet’s health. Water or broth should make up at least 20% of your pet’s meal. It is highly recommended that freeze dried foods are rehydrated before feeding, especially for dogs that do not drink much on their own throughout the day. Rehydrate by adding warm water. Crumble & add 1/4 cup of water for every 2 bars.

This food answered my prayers for a food with no fruits or vegetables for my dog. She has yeast problems at the moment. Dogs are, after all, carnivores. The only thing I want to add is makevsure to add the water recommended or the food will become high fat. My dog loves this food. It is hard to crumble.

I gave this 4 stars because normally it is wonderful and my dogs loves it.. However, we must have received a bad batch because this one was stale and hard and couldn't even crumble. We have purchased them before and they were so fresh they crumbled in your hands.. Our dog will now eat the food she didn't care for because this is crumble on tip!!!! We has to place it in the food processor and keep it in a tupperware container..
