How it Works
A Martingale Collar consists of a length of chain with metal rings located on each end. A separate loop of chain passes through the two metal rings, where your leash attaches to a third metal ring that is attached to this separate loop.
When a dog tries to back out of their collar, the martingale will tighten around their neck. When the collar is properly adjusted, it will tighten just to the size of your dog’s neck, without choking them.
To find your size, measure around the base of your dog’s skull just behind the ears. This measurement is the same as the collar when it’s fully tightened or closed.
